New Real Estate Investor (NJ) willing to expand network/partnerships in other states
I am excited to join the BP community. I am new to Real Estate Investment, venturing into commercial real estate space (multi-family rental properties) and willing to expand my network to build a team across the different states for potential opportunities.
Hey @Sagar Goli, welcome to the community! It’s great that you’re diving into multifamily properties and expanding your network across states. I’m based in Branson, Missouri, and if you’re interested in exploring opportunities here, I’d be more than happy to help. Branson’s a solid market with plenty of potential for investors, and I’d love to share insights if you’re considering this area. Feel free to reach out anytime!

Hi @Sagar Goli
If you are building a team across different states I would recommend that you achieve this by doing what Brandon Turner used to call as the 'Core 4'
1. Your contractor
2. Your deal finder (agent/wholesaler)
3. Your property manager
4. Your Lender
My suggestion to find #2 & #4 would be to go to the top of this page and click on FIND AN AGENT & FIND A LENDER. There you will be asked your criteria and then after answering a few questions you will be matched with 3-5 agents or loan officers in your area. My suggestion would be to select someone with the most forum posts or most reviews. That way you know they are active in the BP community!
Hi Sagar, welcome to the community! This is a great place to learn and to connect with people so take advantage of all the great resources.

Thank you Preston. I appreciate your feedback.
Having a solid team around you like agent, lender etc.—will be key to success!!
Hi Sagar, Welcome to BP. I’m a relatively new investor in Johnson County KS looking to expand my portfolio in the next year. Just sent a PM. It'd be great to connect and discuss opportunities in Johnson County.

Hey Sagar,
Welcome to BP! The first thing I would do if I were you is house-hack. That will give you some investment experience and then from there if you want to invest OOS you need to choose one market and study it in depth. You will need to build your CORE 4 when you get started which consists of having a great realtor, contractor, property manager, and attorney. Let me know how I can help you get started
