Hello BiggerPockets! New PRO here
Hello BiggerPockets community! I'm Rebecca from San Diego, Ca. I’ve been passionate about real estate investing for a few years now, but relatively new to the game. I'm particularly passionate about multi-family.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy singing (I do it professionally), and playing basketball (I do it for fun, lol).
Excited to learn and connect with you all!

Thank you very much! I will take you up on your offer to reach out. And yes, music and basketball bring me joy :)
I'm at the beginning stages and am looking to purchase my first investment property. My goal is to get a multifamily. I'd love to get one in Southern California, but I have learned that that might not be a good choice with the high cost of properties in Cali. My initial challenge is figuring out how to get funding, as I don't really have a bit amount of money to put down just yet. Any suggestions or tips are welcome!
And thank you very much!

My pleasure!
To buy a multifamily property without a large down payment, explore financing options like FHA loans, VA loans, and conventional loans. Research down payment assistance programs, partner with others, and consider house hacking. Increase savings by aggressively saving and taking on side hustles. Research affordable markets, real estate investment groups, and neighboring areas for better rental markets.
Good luck!
