Hello everyone,

My name is Stephen Burch; I'm a beginner real estate investor. I'm a software engineer for a company called Accenture but I dabbled in underwriting multifamily on the side. Now I'm venturing off on my own in search of building up my own investment portfolio.

Welcome Stephen! What learning resources have you been studying? What avenue are you wanting to pursue as an investor? Single family, multi family, etc?
There's a ton of experience in this group, so ask lots of questions!

I'm open to anything really at the moment. I have my full VA loan to utilize to initiate my investment goal pursuit.

@Stephen Burch VA loan would be a great tool to use to start your investment journey! Are you open to getting something like a multifamily home and try to house hack?

Definitely use that VA loan. Especially in this market with a house hack- that is the golden ticket! During Covid it was very hard to use with all the multiple offer situation but it's been better for people in the market I live in. Best of luck!
