The VA Loan is one of my favorite loan products to help buyers with but it does have it's challenges when it comes to the VA appraisal/inspection. I'd definitely reach out to @Tj Floros Tj has personally used the loan to purchase is 3 unit in Logan Square (Chicago) and is now helping others do the same. Best of luck to you!

Yeeaa!! I'm so proud of you. You've seen some pretty complicated things on your investing journey! Your first deal was with a VA loan which is notoriously hard to work with on the north side of the city. We finally found you a BIG 3 unit in Logan Square!!! While house hacking, you started your second multi unit in Bridgeport using a construction loan! Understanding the complexities of these types of financing is definitely going to help more investors find their path. You're going to be excellent at helping new investors iron out the risks of being a first time landlord. Because you've seen so much first hand! I'm so pumped to have you on our team @Tj Floros !

Congrats on getting this done. Did you have to put down 5% on your FHA loan to pass self sufficiency test? Was that also why the lender was the greatest challenge?

Hi Kyle, I'm sorry you're having issues procuring a tenant. It's such a strong seller's market in every inventory range it might be a great time sell....says the realtor! 
We have worked with many clients over the years that found themselves in the same predicament. Keeping both listings up is definitely an option and one we see a lot of owners take. It is not always a sellers market and renting is sometimes the best path. I've also talked many "sellers" into waiting to list until the market time aligns with when buyers are looking. This happens often in Fall and Winter. What the home offers tenants and prospective buyers will be critical in answering which path and timeline makes the most sense for you and your strategy.  I've just sent you a DM if you'd like to chat more!
