Newbie Investor (hopefully)

Posted

Hi All,

I've been listening to BiggerPockets podcasts and I'm learning a lot since I transferred from a W2 to (hopefully) real estate investing. Could be a mid-life crisis - I don't know. I'm a passive investor with an SFR rental. Hope to gain insight on how to become an Active investor. I'm interested in learning how to buy empty lots, build the asset, and then sell it. But my gut tells me I should probably start smaller with an STR.

@Vahan Balekian it all begins with education and networking.  Find a specific niche that you are interested in, find a mentor and then educate yourself.

Check out meet-ups in your area as well.
