Finding an RE Agent as an out of state RE investor

Hi,

I am an RE investor from central CT. I am interested in purchasing STRs in the northeast near parks/ski resorts (e.g. Acadia National Park, White Mountains, Birkshires, etc.). I need an experienced RE agent in these markets to assist me with selecting the right property/location. I am looking for recommendations on how to find super star RE agents able/willing to support an out of state investor. I attempted to make a post directly requesting RE agent recommendations, however the post was rejected for violating BP's forum terms. Any advise is appreciated.

BTW...I checked BPs RE agent finder tool, however there were no hits for the areas I'm interested in.

I googled it and found this on Realtor:

One simple, somewhat passive way to find the best real estate agent is to identify which agents have the most listings in your area. Experience with many clients indicates a certain amount of ambition and hustle.
