My family stayed at an Airbnb in Helen, GA this past weekend.  I woke up late last night to sound at the cabin.  I thought it was one of our kids getting up to use the restroom; so, I got up to help them.  They were in an unfamiliar loft area and the lights were out.  Turns out it was some guy on the porch trying to get in the front door.  My wife called 911 and I grabbed a kitchen knife.  I heard a guy yell something...could not understand what it was.  My wife was on with 911 and the operator could not find the address for the cabin; so, we had to grab the rental paperwork and fortunately, the owner included the 911 address on it.  It went quiet for a little while with no door and lock rattling but it was raining and hard to tell.  The policy called us back 5-10 minutes later...turns out it was three drunk guys who could not find their cabin.  The police said it happens a lot in Helen and they got them back to their cabin (no arrest).  This was a lit up, stand alone cabin with our car parked 10 feet from the front porch...they must have been totally wasted.  In many of those mountain rentals, there was likely a 9mm (or more) pointing at them from inside the house...

Well that is a bummer @Mike Dymski. Try not to penalize the owners with a bad review. That is something out of their control.
