Panama City Beach Duplex
Wondering if anyone here as any experience with short term/vacation rentals in PCB and what your experience has been with them? I would also like to hear your expectations for the city over the next 5-10 years if possible.
I’m a property claims adjuster and so is my fiancé. We work catastrophe events and live full time in an RV.
We are under contract for a turnkey duplex (2 bed, 2 bath, ocean view from upper deck) on the West End of PCB that is next to St. Joe Company conservation land that looks like it won’t be developed for years to come if at all. So only one neighbor to the left of us. We have enough space and the plumbing/electric/water is perfect for an RV to be set up in between the duplex and the conservation land. This will also eliminate the $600/month rent we average in Fl parking our RV plus allow us to rent the spot out to cover our RV rent while we’re traveling to work. My sister works for VROB and we have around 5,000 full time RVers who follow us in social media that we could extend the RV rental spot to while we’re gone.
We will be 1 block from the ocean, 1 mile from grocery stores, etc, 5 minutes from the pier & attractions, and 7-10 minutes from Rosemary and Alys Beach. It seems that the expansion of 30a (Rosemary & Alys Beach) is making its way through PCB. We believe having the first International air port since 9/11 being 20 minutes away will be a huge bonus. We also see St Joe Company’s development plans over the next 2 years and they’re really working hard to build some beautiful communities that will bring in a lot more growth 2019-2020.
Any input would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
