Investing in Ambergris Caye, Belize

Hey all,

I’ve recently been made aware of the foreign friendly real estate purchasing laws in Belize and the development going on in Ambergris Caye. I spoke to a real estate agent from Remax down there about plots in Secret Beach and it all sounds pretty great (probably too good to be true), so was hoping to hear from some fellow investors who’ve bought or looked into Ambergris. Can anyone share their experiences in that market?

Thanks!

Rick

My philosophy is to buy in the continental U.S., use the money made here to travel other places.

There are too many potential problems that could arise that would be out of my control.

That's just how I see it.
