Short Term Rental success around Norris Lake?

I know that the Smokies is one of the best markets for STRs but I am curious about other areas locally. There seems to be a push to develop the Norris Lake area. Has anyone had much success in those areas? How does it compare to the Smokies?

Sounds like apples and oranges comparison.

One is in the mountains around all the tourist tourist stuff like the SMNP and Dollywood the other is on a lake.

Having a lake house can be very successful without much else around it.
