Tiny Home Short Term Rental

Alicia Hall
Posted

Hi All -

Has anyone purchased a tiny home STR in a tiny home community? My husband and I are looking at one but trying to think pro/cons.

It is a community with 3 other houses - all look the same. would love to know your experience. At 65% occupancy it is about a 21% cash on cash return.

When we go on vacation we want to stay at Place nicer that our house or that has different features like ocean front or lake front etc.

We live in a 3000 sq ft house now so a tiny house is not appealing.

I would think a tiny house would demand a tiny rental price too.

Maybe there is a market for this from other people?
