 I live in Charlotte but looking to invest in the Winston-Salem market.  Looking connect with attorney's, real estate agents and property management companies in the area. In the early stages and looking to start within the next year.

@Mike Neff Hi Mike! I've worked with Saunders Real Estate, which has a PM arm as well. I'm sure there are several viable options but we worked with Saunders to buy our first investment in Winston-Salem. We worked with Holton Law for the closing, though I honestly can't say how they compare to other firms. Certainly everything went fine and it was a good experience. Still working on the second investment there now but can't make the numbers work so far on what's available. Looking to increase leads and save up my capital.

Hello all. I moved to Winston 7 years ago and have a few rentals under my belt. I've always worked with JT Meyers, with Berkshire Hathaway, as my realtor and Grady Ellis, with the Ellis Firm, for closings. I manage them myself so no help there but, if things go well and I pick up a few more units, I'll be looking for a PM too.

@Mike Neff I’ve used Calaway law for my closings here in winston. Hunter realty has done a great job as my PM. I’d highly recommend them.

My main interest is because in general the prices are lower there and therefore I can utilize my capital better. Also, my daughter is thinking about going to college in the area so I am trying to get my homework in. We are planning on utilizing the FHA low down for a family member while she is in school.

@Mike Neff Winston is a great market to live and invest!  My wife is an agent and would be happy to help you along your journey if you are interested in scheduling a call/meeting :).  For attorneys, we use Moss Woods or Thomas and Bennet a ton and both are great! im looking for a contractor to do some fixing to a rental unit (paint, carpet,smoke detectors and to repair subfloors install linoleum floor. any recomendations?
