Property Management Software
Hello BP community,
My family owns an 8 apartment multifamily building in Greenwich Village NYC with a storefront on the first floor. We were in the process of selling the building until the pandemic, protests and economy changed the situation. Two of our family members have been managing the building but are requesting help from others. I am looking for any recommendations on property management software such as Cozy, Buildium etc. We are not adverse to a property management company either but are looking to save on the costs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank You!!
@Jeff Norton take a look at TenantCloud.

@Jeff Norton check out this thread on easy rental payment software suggestions. It covers property management software and there are some good recommendations in there. Some companies are more focused on property management than others, and some seem more interested in advertising and marketing.
Cozy is stellar for a short term solution. Maintenance, communication, and payment is easy. If you want to scale or do anything long term there are better solutions for sure.
@Diego Hodge I used this platform a few years ago. I felt it was in its beta phase and missing a few important things. On the plus side they are very responsive to your requests and suggestions and improving it all the time.
@Bill Hampton this worked great for me for receiving payment. I like Stessa for book keeping and tracking all of the other information.
@Jeff Norton I use Buildium for hundreds of doors and absolutely love it. You can do a free 15 day trial and they set you up a mock site. It handles everything to collection, financials, maintenance, screening, applications and communications. Try it out. And do free trials through appfolio and hemlane. See which one you like best
@Jeff Norton We are using Cozy. Free and easy to use for both you and tenants.
