Tenant won't share repair receipts for possible water damage

Hi All,    Big trucks with large fans & towels & dehumidifiers been seen at the rental, and tenant claims they hired carpet cleaners and staff to wash/clean all carpet&furniture.    Tenant is also not sharing the workorder/receipts so far to shed light on the scope of work that took place.

From a landlord perspective, I obviously would want to know if there's been potential water damage that took placed.   Is the tenant required by law to share receipts of any work done on the house - if asked?

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

@Alex Smith I'm going to assume that your lease states that the tenant can not do any work on the property without your permission.

Give them notice and schedule an inspection.
