Renting to a wife beater?
I was reviewing background checks and stuff of our tenants (we got 5 properties with tenants) and noticed something. A young mid 20s couple with a 4 year old. The husband was charged with domestic violence a year ago or so.
I asked the property manager (aka my husband) about it and he said when he asked them about it the wife hugged the guy and said they were fine now. Apparently, they were the best candidates for the unit.
I'm just wondering anyone with experience with renting to wife beaters? If it happens again, will it affect us?

@Lam N. I would probably move on.... that's drama that you want to try to avoid.
Best case is that it is a constant thing where she calls the cops on him, presses charges, then drops the charges. Worst case, he ends up in jail and your unit is destroyed
