Fire Extinguisher in Fourplex
So I am having some work done in my 4 Plex in South Florida. My GC is telling me that I should get a fire extinguisher for each duplex since I have an inspection with the city coming up. Anybody here have experience with this? Or has anybody not passed an inspection because they did not have a fire extinguisher on the property?

I put a fire extinguisher inside each unit, usually mounted in or near the kitchen sink base cabinet. They're about $20 each.
I think it's really cheap insurance against property damage or, God forbid, loss of life. The city does not require me to do this, but I feel it's another way to protect my investment and/or my business from loss or liability.
