I’m in Texarkana TX and in need of some multi-family property investors. Everyone I know with one has multiple investors and I’m just curious if there are other sites/groups that I could join to help me build a team. Any feedback on this is appreciated

Hi Royce,

In order to raise money for multifamily deals (i.e. syndication), you are going to need to have a proven track record in business and/or real estate. When speaking to prospective team members, they are going to ask you about your background and how it will help you raise money and execute a business plan. At the end of the day, investors and your team members (i.e. broker, property management company, partners, etc.) want to know that you can close and manage a multifamily deal, because that is how they get paid. If you are lacking in the real estate and/or business industry, I recommend focusing on that first, or finding someone with experience in syndications and proactively adding value to their business for free with the goal of ultimately working with them on a few deals.
