basement moisture--dehumidifier recommendation

I have a basement that has a very low rate of moisture influx thru the cement. However, the cooler temperatures coupled with significant shower/washer use in the basement injects plenty of moisture that creates damp clothes ("damp" was used by my tenant). 

I'm looking for a recommendation on dehumidifier methods or products people recommend based on their experience.  There's a drain in the cement floor I can access thru the wall, so I was considering getting a dehumidifier with a drain hose.

I'm open to feedback, suggestions, guidance, etc --- bring it on!
