Special Concessions for Military breaking a lease

I have a tenant that broke a lease and says that Military personnel ( I believe he is in the reserves - not active duty) can break leases with no recourse if they move due to military obligations. Does anyone have any experiences in this area?

What is his "military obligation"?  Is he on orders to go somewhere for an extended period of time?  That would put him on active duty.  More info is needed to make sure you get a correct answer.
