Hey all, I have a tenant who want to know her options for terminating the lease because she might be getting a job transfer soon. I know there is a 3 month notice but is there a 3 month payment up front. She has 2 years contract? but rent is now higher than she is paying now. thanks

It depends what it states in the lease she originally signed.  Our lease states a $500 charge for early termination/breach of contract plus the tenant is responsible for rent until the unit is re-rented.

You are really bound by what is in the lease so I would look there first.
