opinion on craigslist response

I finally listed my house for rent on craigslist and got a couple of responses. There is one that seems a little off to me. I don't really want to give anyone my address until I have some information on them and know that they can afford the rent.

I sent him a rental application to fill out and his response was that he would rather do it in person. So I asked him to meet at a starbucks 5 minutes from the house and after filling out the application we can go see the house. The answer I got was "you want me to fill out an application at subway I was thinking of bringing cash guy I own six food trucks in the city"

No I didn't miss any punctuation's there. How would you respond to this?

I always list the cross street never actual address.I always stress credit checks ,landlord references , security etc The best thing i use is a google voice number or talktone or any fee VoIP service and always use craigslist email relay. Even with all that be prepared for the preacher family( overseas somewhere no doubt)who will immediately want your house just email the instructions for deposit of rents.
