Landlord Leaving your Job

Hello Landlords,

Are you a landlord overseeing/managing your own rental properties?

If you do, how long have you been doing this? Do you still hold a full time job?

If you already left your job, do you regret it?

I have working full time and been managing my own rental properties for more than 5 years now. I have a good job and properties are cash flowing. I have been contemplating about quitting my job and go into really estate full time lately. I just want to hear people who were in this position in the past.

Thank You

I manage my own properties.

I have been acquiring and self managing for about 15 years.

I worked myself out of need for my day job as an engineer about 4 years ago and it has been great!

I like buying the 30k to 40k houses from motivated owners for cash and fixing them up to keep as rentals. They then rent for $1300 to $1500 per month.

I also have self directed ROTH IRA'S that each own houses. These are generating tax free income!
