For those of you following the Clayton Morris / Morris Invest House of Cards starting to fall thread or other various threads I'd like to move the conversation over to this thread. As many of you know my team has been working on a full length film going over the story of the investors who have made fraud allegations against Clayton Morris and his company Morris Invest and their dealings with Bert Whalen and his company Oceanpointe. 

The video is still in production and is scheduled to be released soon. For now though I'd like you all to take a sneak peak at the trailer.

#ThisIsHoltonWise is video series consisting of short clips that highlight the things we do & talk about here at Holton Wise. These clips are intended to give viewers a sneak peak at what they can expect when working with our team or viewing our full length video content.

Episode 2 of The Landlords From Hell Show is about the many stories circulating the news cycle alleging that former Fox News Anchor Clayton Morris and his company Morris Invest worked with Bert Whalen and his company Oceanpointe Investments to defraud investors in what has been called a real estate Ponzi scheme. In addition to providing insight into the media coverage James Wise speaks with alleged victims of Clayton Morris, Clayton Morris himself and other industry professionals including Jay Hinrichs, Meet Kevin, Indianapolis Property Managers and much more.

If anyone knows or is colleagues with anyone else who's got an interest in this story or been active in other threads feel free to tag them in here. Note as this video has been produced by my film company and is not affiliated with bigger pockets I have posted it here in the marketplace so you will need to be a pro member to be able to comment on this thread. However, anyone can comment on the video directly on Youtube should they want to.

Yea he's not a big fan of yours. @Todd Burton either. He also had some pretty wild things to say about Bigger Pockets in general. 

Nice thing is for those of you out there that think you aren't being heard by anyone, you are. Clayton Morris sees what is being said on these forums.

I just want to know if it's true or not. I honestly followed Clayton for a long time and loved what he was doing, loved that he said he was all for the people and speaking directly to the middle class, etc etc and for it to end like this if hes guilty would be a damn shame.

Prior to making this video we discussed the legalities of it all with our legal team as Clayton's been in the media business a long time and we anticipated that he might not be happy with all of the coverage that's included in the video. With that said, I am of the opinion that Clayton's copyright claim is totally bogus and holds no water. I also believe that Youtube is the proper hosting platform for the film and I am confident that we will have the footage back on Youtube within a reasonable time frame.

I know a lot of folks are upset that the video is down. Many have suggested that I upload the trailer to other platforms while the dispute takes place. I am not going to do that. There is no better platform to host this video than Youtube. With that said I am going to do whatever needs to be done and spend whatever amount of money is necessary to keep Clayton Morris and his legal team from suppressing the film. 

I'd like you guys to help the fight by buying some of these T-Shirts and spreading that link to all who would be interested. These are limited edition T-shirts that will be available until the copyrighted content claim Clayton Morris filed against #HoltonWiseTV is resolved. All proceeds will go to fund the fight to keep Clayton Morris from suppressing the #HoltonWiseTV documentary about all of those who claim they lost money investing with the Clayton Morris Real Estate program that has been called a Ponzi Scheme.

 Lol not a bad idea. Although doing pretty well with just eCommerce. Already have some steady sales on it since it's release 30 min ago lol.
