Are there tax benefits to having my own handyman llc?

I want to get into real estate investing across multiple states.  I also have my own side hustle handyman business (inactive I am not doing any work).  Question: I was planning on closing the business.  However would there be any advantages to keeping it open as a part of my real estate ventures.  For example, I could DIY things and record it being done for taxes through my handyman business.
