Save taxes on W2 using Short term rental

I heard about this instagram but don't know much about it. Is it real that you can save on W2 income taxes if you have a short term rental. Has anybody used this strategy? If this really works then I can invest in a short term rental in 2024 with a smaller/cheaper property to start with. Please share your experience and provide details how it works?

Thanks,

PJ

Instagram is a wonderful source of trusted information on taxes, legal, medical and all the other complex stuff. They sure make it simple, unlike us actual professionals.  ;)

Just in case you want some, ahem, actual knowledge on the topic - read this https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51/topics/1122635-the-s...
