How do you finance a trailer built before 1976?

I am purchasing a trailer to flip but it was built in 1972. On paper the potential profit looks great. However, The lender tells me Sally Mae won’t finance trailers built before 1976. Am I purchasing a dead end deal that no single family will be able to finance?

It’s hard to walk away from such a great deal.

Mobiles before 1976 weren't built to any set standards.

So you literally have no clue if wiring is safe, how secure it would be for storms, ect.

    I've flipped trailers and I won't touch pre 76.

Oh right and also- your buyers won't be able to finance it.
