Real Estate Study Information

For new real estate investors or even for those old seasoned types, where do you get alot of your information to study or stay current?

Are there any professional organizations or sites that you go to regularly, such as government information, professional appraisal sites, title insurance/closing information or maybe real estate schools? Do you stay up with any guru type program?

How do you learn the basics or keep current other than BP?

Another question: What % of your learning or staying current is accomplished on BP and what % elsewhere? :D

Hey Bill,

Interesting topic.

I would say BP is a big source of education along with the internet as a whole, but I come here more for the motivation. Looking at the deals that you, Rich, Will, and all the other big players on this site are getting done is a great source of motivation for me and I think everyone else who comes here.

Besides that I like to attend the REI clubs and since I have my RE license I go to our regular training events as well.

As far as the guru's go, they are usually good with current market trends, but I won't actually purchase anything over $50. If I really wanted a program of theirs I'll just wait a few months to find it on eBay for a 75% discount :)
