are sold prices on zillow accurate?

I was looking at comps around my primary residence and noticed the sale price on zillow was actually my total amount financed (sale price plus closing costs). I saw one house a few doors down that sold for quite a bit less, my question is does zillow look at amount financed or actual sales prices?  I was thinking if someone put $20k as a down payment would the sale price on zillow reflect only the financed amount (sale price minus down payment). If you can't tell by now, I'm new at this. ;)

Thanks

Yes. The actual sold prices are accurate as they scrape public data sources for this info. It often takes a while for this data to get updated to zillow, but is as accurate as the source they got it from. What it doesn't reflect is true net to seller. It's just the price that was reflected by public record.
