Condo vs house

Liad Amir
Posted

What are people preferences? i own few condo's in NJ and find the association a pain. On the other hand, not dealing with roof, pipes etc damage is a big deal for me.

Any comments/advice?

are there areas where condo's are better then houses?

Hey Liad -

Condos can pose some challenges mostly due to monthly association fees, limited control over the property, and potential for slower appreciation compared to single-family homes. You also might face unexpected costs like special assessments, and market saturation could impact rental yields/resale values. Definitely something to consider when looking in addition to understanding if it is warrantable or non-warrantable and limitations as such.
