New Build Costs

Thomas Lawhun
Posted

I'm looking at some vacant lots in the Annapolis/Edgewater area of Maryland.  Does anyone have an estimate for new build costs in this area?  I'll need the info for some trustworthy/investor friendly contractors too, if you got em!  Thanks in advance!

Per sf estimate is tough just because the bigger you build the cheaper per sf it will be, plus things like how shovel ready the project is, that said I’d be surprised if you could even a modest home for less than 400-500k anything bigger than that add more $$. Might be profitable if it’s on the water, otherwise especially in edgewater I can’t imagine it’s worth it especially when you add in holding costs.
