Thank y'all for the quick responses. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do any of my own work on it and would have to rely on the GC. That's good to know about it being cheaper if you build bigger. This would be a standard 3 bed/2 bath SFR that I'd put on the MTR market. Somewhere between the 1,500 and 2,000 square foot range.

I'm looking at some vacant lots in the Annapolis/Edgewater area of Maryland.  Does anyone have an estimate for new build costs in this area?  I'll need the info for some trustworthy/investor friendly contractors too, if you got em!  Thanks in advance!
