Needing advice for my son

Michael Walker

I have a very capable 22 year old son who is a 3rd year electrician apprentice. He has no debt (including NO credit card, school and automobile debt). He has managed to save $35k with a small $2k emergency fund living at home. He plans on buying a home after he finishes his apprenticeship program next summer, gets his Master's License and new job. What advice or push in a right direction can I give him, to help him be prepared for this next step? We have talked a few times about rental properties but I'd also like for him to hear from or meet some folks living the life.

Thanks for help, Mike W.

@Michael Walker - Definitely have him read Rich Dad Poor Dad as soon as possible. Real estate investing is 90% mindset, 10% skill. Once he has the mindset down, the investing will fall into place.
