Should I start a podcast?

I was listening to show 441 of the BiggerPockets podcast yesterday on my way to work and was blown away by a strategy mentioned by Hakeem Valles. Hakeem said that inviting investors to be on a podcast is a great way to provide value to them and build strong relationships.

I think this would be an excellent strategy for investors with deals under their belt, but do you think that it makes sense for someone in my position with 0 deals done and 0 followers to pursue this idea?

I sincerely appreciate any and all responses!

It depends on your approach and personality. If you are building the podcast on the premise of being genuinely curious and learning from others, then you will do well. If you are coming in as an "expert" and faking it, then you will fail. Be open and honest with your audience. On the personality front, being able to actually ask good and hard questions with confidence, properly re-focusing your guests and being positive and genuine are critical to your success.

Don't fake it until you make it. Be honest and open
