Multi family ownership

I own some condos but due to high HOA fees on some of them , the NOI is around 40-45% and with the loan it is very low around 27%. What I am more upset about is that the HOA keeps going up along with the special assessments that happens quite often on some of them. I want to know what BP family members think about switching over to Multi families from Condos. The only good thing about condos is that they are easy to maintain since they are 1 or 2 bedroom units and I have either singles or small families living there. With the multi family, the cap ex could be high due to heating units or possible plumbing leaks . I still think that the net return will be better but will have to deal with larger families and more headache. I would like to know the opinion of the BP members . Thankyou

Raj

@Raj Parwani I agree with your thinking that apartments are best. I started out by doing pretty much every type of real estate investment and determined that apartments are the best investment for my goals; cash flow, reducing annual tax liability, forced appreciation, and capital protection.
