@Joseph Smith you should get familiar with market fundamentals that drive long term growth if that’s your goal. Job growth, population growth, markets that have had rent growth over the last several years and projected to have continued rent growth. The location and quality of the community will be very important if your goal is long term value. The southeast US has these fundamentals.

@Alton Pettit have you found a group of investors to network with to see how they have had success and what challenges they faced? This would be a great place to see how the real estate investor space works and pros/cons to investment strategies

@Selina Giarla you should find a local group of investors to meet with on a monthly or biweekly basis to discuss new ideas for sourcing more deals. There are deals out there you just need to look at more volume.

@Hamad Khan congratulations on your awesome success. The question to ask yourself is what is your goal. Do you want to enjoy your free time or use your time to manage your assets? It's always a good exercise to review your ROI and your ROT (return on time). My guess is if you grow your portfolio you'll need to hire help and you'll have more issues to resolve which will increase your time commitment to asset management and or property management.
