Is there a way to guestimate the Rehab on an 8 Unit Apartment?
It's an 8 Unit Apartment that's a complete gut-out job. I'm not a contractor by any means, so is there a way to estimate the costs? Maybe a general rule of thumb?

@Bradley White As Seth said, every market is different and that applies to construction costs as well. I think the best way is to make a list of what you need done and put it out for bids from three contractors.
There will be 'undiscovered conditions' once the walls are open too. Depending on the age of the building these could range from dryrot, pest infestation and mold to serious structural defects, plumbing and wiring issues. So your budget should have plenty of contingency in it.
Another issue is that by doing a deep remodel on all units at once the building department may require that you bring everything in the building up to current code which could be very expensive so I would definitely check with them on the requirements. You may find that remodeling one unit at a time will keep that from being triggered.
Do you belong to Atlanta Apartment Association? Members there would be a great source of advice. If you're not a member you can still go to their website and look up contractors on this page:
