HI All - Looking at purchasing an 8 house portfolio of 1-2 family.  Trying to think of the easiest/wisest decision for financing:

- get 8 different loans on each property

- see if I can get a commercial loan

- SBA loan (not sure if this would even be possible

- Open to options!

    @Brandon Cohen

    You could reach out to a local bank or credit union, and see what types of portfolio loans they offer. If the total loan amount is over $1m, you could contact an agency broker/lender (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) to see what they are able to offer. I have previously financed a portfolio of 3-4 unit properties with Fannie Mae.
