Ways to find off market leads

I am a newbie investor in South Carolina. I have been on the bigger pockets app reading stories and learning a lot from others experiences. I am wondering about finding properties that are in the pre-foreclosure stage but not completely foreclosed on. I heard about a website called list source but unfortunately SC is one of the states that you can’t pull information about properties on that particular one. If anyone can give me tips on how to begin to find these type of leads I would greatly appreciate it!

@Matthew Williams Also check out Brock & Scott and Hutchens law firms' websites. They have pending foreclosures across South Carolina.
