Anyone who has experience purchasing properties at sheriff sales, are you running title on the properties that interest you yourself? Or hiring a title search company to do this on your behalf before attending the auctions?

I don my own search and examination, though I  have over thirty years experience in curing title defects.  Doing the search is the easy part, though it can be easy to miss things.  Understanding what the documents  may mean can be more difficult.
