My Property Tax in Memphis Went up on one of my properties quite a bit. Is that normal ?

you can contest them directly at the Shelby county tax assessor a website. If that doesn't work there are people who will fight to get them lower and won't cost you anything if they are unsuccessful. I have done both and both ways works.
