Are Some CRE Gurus Worth The Investment?

I recently joined a website where I wanted to be trained to invest in real estate. The main guy who runs this site is pretty rough (abrasive) on his students (to a point that it's abusive in a way). He doesn't pull punches, and yet...I wonder if his programs (which run from $400-$2,000 per kit) are worth the investment and the abuse (per se). Is Sal Buscemi's programs and training worth being chewed out and alienated on his public forum? His kits are pricey and his membership site is $39.99/month, and yet...it seems his membership site is a primer and a "pump" to get you to buy his kits and invest more money. Has anyone had the same experience, and if so, what are your thoughts?
