Where can I go to get Commercial MLS Listings
Ok I am a realtor in the South Florida Area, I wanted to know is there a separate component for Commercial Listings? If so where do I go? I am new and I have a client that is interested in commercial properties. I want to know where should I go and do I need to purchase a membership for these commercial listings.
Best Regards

There is no MLS for commercial like there is for residential. Loopnet, CoStar and Catalyst all have presence in Florida, but none of them are complete pictures of the market. Costar is like $500/mo to subscribe. Loopnet Premium is a lot less, but still not cheap. You will only see a small portion of the listings if you choose not to subscribe. It is tough to dabble in commercial. You might want to consider finding a commercial agent in your area and partnering with them. Find some agent that does not do residential and you can cross refer. It is a lot cheaper than buying subscriptions and you don't have to worry about learning a part of the market people take a lifetime to learn. I don't do any residential brokerage in my business. I have a great network of residential people I work with here in Tampa....there has to be someone in SFlo willing to do the same thing.
