Hello,

My name is Dakota and I plan to purchase my first home/investment property with in the next 9-10 months. The plan is to owner occupy a multi family property under an FHA loan. The perfect property would be below market value with value add opportunities to be able to cash out refinance ASAP. This would ideally cash flow enough to cover majority of mortgage expenses for me to simultaneously lower my cost of living and give me leverage from the cash out to purchase additional investment properties.

**Is San Antonio, Texas a healthy and rentable market to make that happen?

**If so, where?

**if not, why and where?

THANK YOU,

Dakota D.

San Antonio is a great market to invest in small multifamily. The long term investment outlook is one of the main reasons that I moved here. You will have difficulty finding a value add deal that works well with an FHA loan, but there are often rent ready fourplexes that come up that work well as a house hack.
