Clayton Morris Loses $7.2 Million Lawsuit against HoltonWiseTV
Clayton Morris Loses $7.2 Million Lawsuit against HoltonWiseTV
For all of you who've been following the case between myself and internationally shamed real estate dunce Clayton Morris, I've got some great news. His attempts to silence me and by proxy all of his victims who've been telling their stories on my show have failed. Today we won the case. The judge has dismissed his entire $7.2 Million lawsuit with prejudice.
I will post some additional information on this case throughout the day. The biggest take away here is that this case has set a major legal president. The judge has made it very clear that Clayton Morris and his legal team led by Wilmer Hale attorney's Louis W. Tompros and Christa J. Laser cannot try to silence Clayton's victims with legal battles like they attempted to do with me.
As many of you may have already seen I've got an additional video coming out this month with new information from another one of Clayton Morris's victims. It features new evidence that we've never seen before has Clayton Morris DEAD TO RIGHTS stealing money from this man. No question about it. Clayton Morris is caught RED HANDED.
With this win all of you who've been reaching out to me and my team with your stories who've been too afraid to go on camera and get your information out to the public no longer need to fear a legal attack from Clayton Morris and his highly paid attorneys. Now is the time for all of you to go on the record and speak your truth. Tell your story and do not let this piece of crap Clayton Morris get away with trying to silence any of you any longer.

Na. At the Wise household we're currently on day 3 of a 14 day sleep training program for our 7 month old. Lil guy has been having trouble getting some Z's. On a side note if anyone's got a lil one with the same issue I recommend Taking Cara Babies. Thus far, it seems pretty legit.
I did make some dank memes though.
No fun on the lack of sleep. Maybe a victory vacation to Portugal? ;-)
I have some meme ideas:
-That photo of MJ (you) doing that fist pump jump as the Cavs player (I think it was Ehlo/Morris) falls away out of bounds (I know you're from Cleveland but it'd be funny)
-That scene in Titanic where Leo Morris submerges into the icy water as Kate Wise remains floating on the door (or whatever it was)
-A meme of you (David) slinging a rock at Clowny Goliath

Riiiight. Clayton's supposed big shot attorney Louis W. Tompros even had some media coverage on the case. Jenna Greene, the so called "reporter" of the article linked below never contacted me for a comment on this story and I tweeted her a few times after they released it....Never heard a peep from her. Shortly thereafter they stopped with the press releases. I would assume because it didn't go down how they expected.
Daily Dicta: Former ‘Fox & Friends’ Anchor Turned Real Estate Guru Turns Tables on Competitor
I'm sure the goal was never to win, but to get something (anything) out there to counter the video - try to claim that you're just some competitor who was spreading FUD about his operation, that he sued.
When the case gets dismissed 5 minutes in, the person he convinced (paid?) to write an article about it just goes silent.
This sort of gaslighting is a popular strategy that politicians (especially) and others will use, whenever they get caught doing something wrong. The point is to muddy the waters, so what was an open and shut case now looks complicated and hazy to the casual observer.

Those are some solid meme ideas Karl. Hit us with those pieces of art. Speaking from experience here, a lawsuit from Ole' boy Clay isn't anything to be afraid of.

I wish I was artistic enough to do them. I don't have Adobe on my laptop and it would look really bad using Paint. I have friends who do memes/videos using Abobe or whatever the pros use and they are great. My memes are weak, but my meme ideas are fun.
@James Wise
Nice. Congratulations. 🤟👍
@James Wise Congratulations, sir! There's a lot I could say here. I know others who were involved and regret it a million times over, but I bet most of them don't want to expose themselves or I'd direct them your way.
Thanks for the update! :)

Now hold on a damn second here. Clayton Morris is being depicted as a Real Estate Guru in the media???
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Coach? Maybe. Mentor? Maybe. Assistant? Maybe. Guru??? C'mon.
If Clayton can file suit against you for telling the truth, what about the media getting in trouble for telling lies??? LOL.
It's ok. I know that's not how the world works.
Good Grief. Not only does this guy use his television fame to sucker investors, his media buddies help him do it.
Bravo Mr Wise, bravo. Considering the way the world actually works, I was worried for you. I guess your lawyers knew better. Bravo to them as well. I hope whatever you spent comes back nkind - you deserve it if it does. At the very least drinks are on me if we ever meet.
The court findings were a good read. Very interesting to see how courts view things. Based on their findings, it is even more evident that the intent of the lawsuit was never to win, but an attempt to scare you into silence.
What a scumbag.
Congratulations.
Interesting side note, Clayton Morris is still producing content and passing himself off as an expert on real estate investing. I follow him on Instagram. His posts are all sunshine and rainbows, no hint of his scandals. Not surprising, but if anyone thought he would slink off into oblivion...it doesn't seem to have happened yet.
One of his Instagram posts asked "What's your biggest fear stopping you from investing?" I was going to reply "A con artist who defrauds investors by passing off distressed properties as turnkey and then runs off to Portugal to escape accountability" but I didn't want to get blocked 😂😂😂

I don't think he blocks folks right off the bat. I believe at first he'll just belittle you and tell you how wrong things like the news and google are about everything. Usual M.O. is for him to tell you to look up the court cases if you doubt him that google and the news are lying. Given the decision of this court case I wounder if that's going to change ole' boy Clay's M.O?
@James Wise Congratulations man!!! I know we have not always looked eye to eye on certain topics but this is a great victory for you and for all real estate investors. A bad actor like Morris undeservedly gives a movement a negative image and these victories, and all of us making sure that communities we network into know about it, will hopefully help restore confidence and celebrate those who want to help and support people interested in generating economic and financial independence thru real estate investing.

Just clarify you meant to write "I think Clayton, like most of us knows when it's time to stop poking the bear" you meant to write stop poking the beard?
Congrats
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪
@Chris Hedlund, I hope you are not serious. Morris is a conman.
Great news @James Wise. We're doing the happy dance down here in Indy!

Na, I don't think that's necessary. If it's another *** whoopin in Federal Court Clayton Morris is looking for, I've got no problem giving it to him.
whats the worst he can do SUE YOU :) me thinks he will just calm down and try to rebuild his brand from abroad ….
Yea.. I was looking for beachfront property in Portugal. I guess Clayton is the man for the job?
Morris Invest Portgual. Has a nice ring to it!
Congrats James.
Congrats! Thanks for remaining steadfast. Clayton is not well respected among BP members.

Natali Morris is working damage control on her blog. She had some pretty rough comments put on there from the general public this week. Ouch!
___
Poof! They are all cleaned up today. No comments on the blog as of 3/5/2020.
___
Clayton Morris continuing to ignore reality and trying to operate Morris Invest as though Morris Invest was not involved in one of the largest and most notorious turnkey real estate scams in the history of the United States.
