Buying my first investment property

Hello everyone,

I’m going to buy my first investment property within the next 3-6 months. But I’m having a little trouble I. Deciding if I should start with a single family home. Or go straight for multi family with 3-5 units. I would love to just hear opinions. Pros and cons with both. I’m leaning more towards multi family. I’m currently in the Louisville, Kentucky market.

@Christopher Vincent I'd look for a 6 unit, there are plenty available in Louisville. I have 3 of them and they're much more likely to cash flow than SFH.
