Headed to My First Hudson & Marshall Auction Tonight

Mostly going to get a feel for how it goes. No plans of bidding tonight. I just want to see how stiff the competition is and how low the winning bids are. I've read here that if the bids are not high enough, they take it off the block. So I guess there will not be any real steals tonight.

Here's the list of properties here in ABQ tonight:

I will definitely go again when they return to town - and this time I will do my homework in advance and be ready to pull the trigger.

They require a 25k cashiers check for a deposit that you can NOT get back if your financing falls through.

Are you sure? I read the H&M auction terms twice, and at least here, it was a $2500 cashiers check.
