Will 3D printing destroy Real Estate values?

Do you think homes ( or even MF) that can be printed in less than 24 hours and for only a few thousand dollars will revolutionize the industry?

This could lead to dramatic increase in supply. Additionally the attractive low cost of these homes could drag down the market value of all housing.

Your thoughts?

Jason Johnson have you seen that new 5k house that was 3D printed in Austin? It was viral on CNBC a couple weeks ago.

Long story short, I know the guy behind that. I saw an earlier prototype of his when I was in school a couple years ago. They’re marketing mostly in developing countries.

It’ll be a long time before you can 3D print a house of 200-300k. Not to mention it would be out of concrete
