Advice on the Philadelphia market?

Kuran Rudd

Hey, I am new to Real Estate, but it always been my passion and dream career. I am currently looking to invest in the Philadelphia market in February 2018. At the moment I work full time for the city. I continuously educated myself on Real Estate, and I am putting pieces together to execute my strategy into Real Estate. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hey@Kuran Rudd, welcome to BP! There are a lot of great people here on the forums with experience in Philadelphia. Might add some details on the type of investing (buy and hold, flip, BRRRR, turnkey etc) and where in Philadelphia you'd like to target. The city is very diverse and you can buy a property for 50k or 500k within less than a mile drive.

There are also a lot of great networking groups you should check out. Meetup.com is a good resource for these. A few offhand that come to mind include DIG, GPREIA, RING, etc.

General advice on the Philly market: Know your target neighborhood as they can change quickly. Network, you will meet a lot of good people and good investors. Always use your turn signals when merging and changing lanes on 76! Feel free to message me if you want to chat.
