Do any of you investors use residential designers for your flips?

I ask because I struggle to see the finish product in a rehab and I was wondering if it's a good idea to get one.

I dont, but I do utilize the expertise of the the individual contractors that I use.  For example , I have a great kitchen guy and he suggested a certain cabinet color and said this is what 80% of people are putting in these days (High end and low end).  Then I discussed options with the flooring guy letting him know what the kitchen would be.

I also redid the master shower with the suggestions of the contractor.

All of the above had grey and white based colors and all flowed throughout the home.  It ended up being great.

I did not chagne the layout of the house, just the actual things within it.  Hope that helps.
