Hot Markets in Massachusetts

I'm just curious what the hot areas are in Massachusetts from Worcester county and eastward.  I know that is a broad area so maybe I should ask which counties are the hottest in MA.

Hi @Andrew Boucher ,

Would you elaborate on this a little? Everything is hot in today's market, except for a few less desirable towns.

What are you trying to do?

Hi @Andrew Boucher

As mentioned pretty much everywhere is hot right now. Homes are flying off the market quickly. Maybe what you are looking for is a town that is on the rise? Their are quite a few that going through major changes that will only increase value in the coming years

Hi Andrew, What areas are you looking in? Any property that is a good deal will be off the market rather quickly.. Are you looking for multi famlies?

Well since it sounds like everything is hot maybe I will re-phrase and say which towns in MA should I avoid or are least desirable?

@Andrew Boucher, we could probably help a little better if we knew what you're trying to do. Some of the less desirable areas are generally with high crime rates. Or to view it from a different angle, I'm yet to see a not so desirable area with good school ratings. So if you're looking for a nice town, look for school ratings. I'd say 7+ is really good: 5-6 may be still good.

A few examples (and even some of these towns have more desirable areas, but in general they are not as desirable due to high crime rates): Fitchburg, New Bedford, Taunton, part of Worcester.
